Judging
We need judges. We would like to have at least one BJCP judge in each flight. If you are available to judge, please fill out the judge registration form (Microsoft Excel required) and email it to:

Stewarding
We need Stewards to help put the event on! A Steward’s role includes: assisting the Judges (running for beer, gathering work sheets, and checking math), event organization, etc.
Plus, as added incentive, lunch and T-shirts will be provided for event participants.
If you have even thought about becoming a certified Beer Judge, this is a great way to see what certified Judges do. Plus, participation in the event will earn you points toward your own Beer Judging (BJCP) certification.
We have 2 judging sessions scheduled but may need to add more based on the amount of entries we anticipate this year. You do not need to be available to steward both sessions but it would certainly be appreciated.

Schedule
Continental Breakfast at 8:30, Stewards meet at 8:45.
Announcements/Judges meeting at 9:00. Competition starts at 9:15. Lunch will be provided.
The Awards Ceremony will begin shortly after the last group finishes judging in the afternoon while the Best-of-Show Judging is taking place.
Lodging Rates
Country Inn & Suites has reserved a block of rooms for us. They have given us a special rate of $69.00 per night. Just call their number above and mention that you are with the Brewmasters of Alpharetta and you will be given the special rate.
Friday Evening Judging
Each year we have had over 300 entries and we are currently planning on doing some preliminary judging to help reduce the load for Saturday’s main judging session. Please indicate that you will be available to judge Friday when you fill out the Judge’s Registration Form.
Restaurants
The is right down the street (¼ to ½ miles) from many good restaurants. There will be a large selection of cuisines to choose from on the corner of Mansell and North Point Parkway. At the North end of North Point Parkway is North Point Mall. The intersection of Northpoint Parkway and Haynes Bridge has many more restaurants to choose from.Return to Main Page
